A.C.C.S.
- Aerial Crowd Control Services. By far the best and most entertaining
and informational squad page out there! Those slippers are otw! |
69th
Shepherds - our buds and rivals. Help find fluffy. One hell of
a fun site! |
33rd
Strike Wing - Very classy bunch of killers, really nice website.. |
The
Flying Tigers - Squad started by SM consisting of only the very
best pilots and personalities. Now headed by Stilleto! |
Dogz
Of War - "Cry Havoc and let slip the Dogz Of War". Most
excellent A-land squad. |
The
Damned Fighter Group - Famous squad with factions in almost every
known AW and WarBird arena. Known for its high quality fighters and trainers. |
The
Armageddon Squadron - To rise and fall and rise again better than
ever before. If it flies it dies. Whatever <g> Great pilots, really
nice websites. |
The
Shillelagh Squadron - An Irish war club who enjoy clubbing their
opponents to death. New improved website! |
The
Nomads - A really excellent and informative web site for this swell
bunch of guys. Probably the best collection of pure fighter jocks
you'll find anywhere. |
|
Skulls
- A strong and well known AOL squad. See also FoesDoom's
page. |
The
Diamondbacks VMF696 - old rivals of ours who can't seem to make
up their minds about where to fly <G>. |
Nightmare
VF-MKII - Excellent CIS based squad with a really nice web page. |
19th
Air Wing - Good pilots, good folks, originally an AOL A-land squad. |
JG27
'Afrika' - a talented group of fighters and a truly great web page,
one of my personal favourites. |
|
The
Brewester Buffalos - A fun bunch of Bz sporting an extremely busy
web page. Be ready for a LOT of stuff to download. This page
assumes T3 connection I think <g> |
|
479th
Raiders - AOL squad with presence and an excellent web site.
I especially love the title page, hehe <g> |
|
|
|
|
Cactus
Air Force - One of the oldest squadrons around with quite a colorful
history. |
The
Musketeers - A-landers
that have been around and have a reputation for great pilots. |
"Der
Grunherz!" (The Green Hearts) - Based on a real life Luftwaffe
unit, the Grunherz have definitely made a name for themselves in AW. This
website has gotten a major overhaul recently. |
|
666th
Internet Daemons - Historical squad with enough great pilots to
make up for their stupid name <g> |
Pig
Stompers Squad - One of the oldest and most respected and uh hilarious
online flight sim squadrons. |
Grim
Reapers - A-landers living up to their
name. |
|
The
Flying Squirrels - A historic squad whose members started as dweebs
(that was years ago so - "Watch Your Nuts!"). |
The
Gun Fighters - Good ole boys who've been causing havoc for years. |
|
|
|
Wings
Of Death - C-landers with attitude. |
VFA-13
Shadow Riders - Mac flight sim enthusiasts. Very nice web
site. |
| The Devils - A new squadron who fight for the honor and glory of B-land. Web page is no great shakes. | Shepherds
of Destruction - AW2 squadron that loves their sheep (don't we
all?) |
The
Flaming Chickens - bawk ba... |
The
Thumpers - Thumping away in PAC RR on AOL. |
Black
Rose Squadron - very loyal A-landers.
I have heard a lot of good things about this squad. |
Flying
Skuns - You can smell them a sector away |
VF-63
Hellcats - RR3 squad on AOL. Very tastefully done web page. |
Flying
Ogres - excellent squadron with many talented pilots |
| Sky Raiders - originally an AW1 AOL squadron with roots all the way back in 1996. | |
|
|
|
| The Minutemen - An AW2 squad (I think). | The PULPS - An, err, different squadron based on the movie "Pulp Fiction". My vote for the most inconstant CO, GG1 who has lead squads, been a member in many (sometimes more then one at a time) etc. Woah... |
| Hellspawn - This fine Az squadron on CIS/Elink has disappeared without a trace. | Screaming
Eagles - A large squadron and a very nice web page. Some of these
folks are our buddies in the now defunct Wild Cards squadron of Elink/CIS.
Alas, the Screaming Eagles have disbanded. |
| The Air Heads-The infamous Flying Air Heads! Nuff said! Web page missing since May 97. | The 336th Fighter (Turkey Ham) Squadron - Originally formed out of Air Warrior Training Academy class #8 in 1992. Web page has gone away in '98. |
| Leningrad Cowboys - Some fun loving "russkies. Web page gone April 97. | The Bulldogs - Some of the best pilots in the game fly in this US/UK squad. Web page gone since mid-May '97 |
| Death From Above - DFA members had a hand in the creation of that other great on line flight sim. Website is no more as of January '98. | The Eagle Squad - An AOL and Compuserve squad with strong presence and history. So I was told... Err.. umm.. well at one point anyway... |
| Wild Cards - A fine A-land squadron once big on CIS/Elink. Run for the hills, the Wild Cards are BACK (I think <g>)! Their web page went away at the start of Februrary '98. | Specialists - These specialists did it all but now they're MIA. |
| Wild Cards - A solid AOL squadron that HAD a cool web page.. | Krait Squadron - A UK based squad with serious flight time under their belts and some of the coolest pilots. Spiffs web site is gone. Anyone know what happened to it? |
| Jokers Wild - One of the first squads organised on AOL and at one time our greatest rival. Web page went away in Q2-98. | |
