These awards are hereby presented to the members of the US Navy who have acted beyond the call of duty during the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

Awarded to Big-H, Gnats, Whels, Kken, and Awulf for their brilliant leadership in the face of insurmountable odds.


DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS
Awarded to FOZIE, LouMn, Hornet, and TCO for their exceptional performance in fighter roles


AIR MEDAL
Awarded to Wezul, Dmien, Wolf-, woof, Micha, gerd, Seph, HWood, Maik, Ede, and uk4me for their performance in crucial aerial combat.


PURPLE HEART
Awared to FTW who used his TBF to draw enemy fighters in 4 different frames allowing the rest of VT-19A to get closer to target.  And to Rall who had to deal with all the idiots.


SPECIAL COMMENDATION
To rj30 for providing the US with excellent recon and advice.  All the GLs for sticking it out.

Finally, all US participants deserve a huge word of thanks for their participation and most of all perseverence!  We brought this one back from the brink of total defeat!
